Parade: Many people have expressed interest in participating in the 4th of July parade, and Buck Byrne is heading up our parade effort. We were unable to secure a trailer to ride in the parade this year so no float. But we can have vintage automobiles (parade officials dictate they must be at least 30 years old) to hold classmates. In addition some classmates plan to walk the four mile parade route or ride a bike in the parade. Please notify Buck if

1. You have access to an auto that is at least 30 years old that can be driven in the parade and how many people it can hold. (convertibles preferred)

o.  You want to ride in the parade (right now we only have about 10 spots available)

2. You have a bicycle and want to ride in the parade

o. You have a bicycle someone else can ride in the parade

o.  You need a bicycle to ride in the parade

3. You are planning to walk in the parade.

4.  Other -- skate board, scooter, ???

People riding and walking in the parade are encouraged to wear a T-shirts from our past reunions plus carry and wave signs, American flags, and banners and decorate their vehicle. Let's show them that there is still a lot of life in us even if it has been 60 years since we left UA High.

Contact Buck at Buck@BuckByrne.com or 614-562-7355.

And if you just want to sit and watch the parade, Carolyn Casper has invited us to sit in her yard at 2545 Northwest Blvd. Just be sure to get your chairs placed in her yard early in the morning to get a place. Contact Buck if you want a chair at Carolyn's or if you are local and can bring come extra chairs for classmates to sit in.

Note: Carolyn will be out of town so her house will NOT be available, only her yard.
