Please plan to join us for our Once-in-a-Lifetime 50th Reunion.
Welcome, Classmates
To our Upper Arlington High Class Of 1962 website and plans for our Once-in-a-Lifetime 50th Reunion. The website tells you just about everything you need to know about the reunion just by clicking on the tabs to the left:
-
Classmate Profiles—Each classmate has a personal page to tell us about what they have been doing the last 50 years (we have had fascinating lives) and what they are doing now. Classmates are encouraged to upload current pictures of ourselves so we can recognize each other at the reunion, Target, or an airport—you never know who you may pass changing planes in Atlanta.
-
Bonus—You can send e-mails to classmates through the website by going to their Profile Page.
-
50 Year Reunion—This tab describes all the events that are planned for our fabulous 50th reunion as well as listing the reunion committee chairs. Five days of exciting events beginning with a Welcome Picnic on Sunday July 1 through a Farewell Brunch on July 5 are planned. It promises to be the best reunion ever.
-
Reunion Registration—This tab provides all the details for registering for the reunion including information on reserving a room at the Embassy Suites in Dublin, shirt sizing, and optional events like the Ladies Luncheon and Coed Golf Outing. Most importantly, it contains a link to the Official Registration Form that needs to be printed out, filled out, and mailed with a check to Sherry McArdle so she receives it by June 8, 2012.
-
Past Reunions, Links, Music Memorabilia, Early Photos, and News!—These links are fun, informative, and guaranteed to make you smile and bring back memories. Be sure to check out the News! to learn about the award our class won.
-
Legacy/Service—This tab explains about our exciting projects on Service Learning to leave a lasting legacy to present and future high school students.
-
Parade Float—This tab shows the current plans for our 4th of July Parade float.
-
Missing Classmates—Currently, fewer than one dozen classmates are yet to be located, thanks to the tireless work of Joy Daniels Schmitter and Lisa (Mrs. Dave) Schubert. Please check out this tab and help us find our missing classmates. We want everyone in the class to have the opportunity to come to the reunion.
-
Contact Us—If you have any problems with the website or questions on how to set up your profile page, use this link to send a message to our webmasters, Mike Chern and Dotty Garvin Tonjes, who will get back with you.
-
In Memory—Sadly, a large number of classmates are no longer with us. This page lists those classmates and gives the details about them. If you have more information about a deceased classmate, use the Contact Us tab to send us the information.
-
Home Page—The page you are currently reading.
Plan now to attend our Once-in-a-Lifetime 50th Reunion for all five days. We all look forward to seeing each of you in 2012.
Buck Byrne, 50 Year Reunion Chairman
